There was a Neo-Geo AES system for sale at my local video game store today... *_*

It cost $300... *_*

I wish I had enough disposable cash for it... *_* I would love to own a Neo-Geo home system... *_*

I think what I miss most about university is having a large, quiet, well-stocked library I could relax and work at. There aren't enough quiet places that are open late, like uni buildings are for students...

@maple I read this in the voice used for Knuckles's rap segments from Sonic Adventure 2 >.>;;;;;;

@Xkeeper I greatly enjoy having the current "unlisted" post setting, which I guess would be "Post on home timelines"... It's essentially followers-only initially, but anybody can also see it on your user timeline if they look later.

I've seen so many programmers or CS graduates talking about weird things you can do that they seem so excited about, or particularly interesting obfuscated and esoteric code that they wrote, but I just see them like curiosities that probably won't be useful outside of some niche. Why write a strange obfuscated algorithm for something when you could have written it cleanly and neatly, but still have it work exactly like your obtuse code...?

I wonder if I even belong in a programming job...

I never really cared about programming for its own sake, or for any of the weird things you can do just for the sake of doing them. I just want to build interesting things, like fun games or useful applications...

@Xkeeper A game styled like a Game Boy game, where after a certain amount of gameplay, the batteries run dry. After replacing them, your progress is lost, and you have to start over from the beginning.

Maybe make it a race against time, trying to finish before running out of power; or maybe make things change subtly in each successive "playthrough," based on your previous progress; or maybe write things from the game character's point of view, where they live in a constant state of déjà vu.

I'm glad I documented what I was doing last here, because I hadn't marked down what needed changing anywhere else...

I'm exhausted today already, but I will try working on this later...

@Glitchpup Probably contact @noiob and ask if they can give you an invite for them?

Kind of wish I lived someplace where there were cool people around to meet up with or interesting places to go or fun events happening...

I feel really lonely and tired...

I've found it increasingly hard to focus on anything at all, and have had awful headaches on days when things are especially bad...

It hasn't been that I haven't wanted to work on anything, just that it is actually impossible for me when I feel this way...

I'm bored, so I think I will ... maybe stream an old video game for a while...

It's been a long time since I've streamed.
