I'm going to be in San Francisco with @KS@is.a.qute.dog next month, when GDC (the Game Developers' Conference) is happening, and ... I don't feel like I deserve to be there at all.

I tried making games and could barely get started.
I tried making music (in hopes I could make music for games) and could barely get anything finished.
I feel surrounded by amazing, smart, talented people who can do anything they try, and yet I don't feel like I can do anything like them...

@kitsch@witches.town I ... guess? The kind where I feel like I have a place that matters, where I have a reason to keep making things, and where I feel people care about what I'm doing...

I really just feel like I don't have any reason to do anything anymore, and nobody would care if I just wasn't here... and I feel.... I don't know if obsoleted is really the word I'm thinking of? but I don't feel useful or needed anymore...

I feel like I don't belong here, or anywhere...

Tonight... I really feel like crying...

Ugh, I picked up a differential equations/linear algebra textbook at the local library, and I could only remember maybe a third of the basic definitions and properties it begins with.

I am so, so out of practice doing any advanced maths... x.x

Honestly that whole story still gives me chills though :s it's almost like they were warning us in 1972 and nothing has changed at all

Thinking about how great the music for Dr Seuss's The Lorax animated special was and how some parts of it still make me cry when I hear them

When the Once-ler explains what an Unless is at the end, even though it's maybe ten seconds long, just, ;~;

You can just /hear/ how hopeless things are by how everything is presented and the music backing that scene accentuates it perfectly

Well, now I'm out of the tournament (or at least can't win it anymore) because I made one gamble on an out-of-the-way chest and it had the one item I needed to finish the game.

I guess things went horribly wrong! :\

Setting up for round 2 of the Zelda: A Link to the Past key-sanity randomizer tournament (where all progression items, keys, maps, and other items have been shuffled throughout the game)!
