I think it might be time to add ears to my overall appearance.

I have no patience for stuck-up, rigid, and condescending people in my life.

I've dealt with too many toxic individuals in my life to tolerate people like that. If someone tries, even a little, to put me down and treat me like shit? Just because I have a few quirks? They're cut completely out of my life. Fool me once, shame on them. Fool me twice, shame on me. No second chances. I certainly won't be nice about it.

Suanmeitang, aka Chinese smoked plum juice, feels like drinking a health potion. Some brands even come in round glass bottles. This stuff is amazing and I'm officially hooked.

Job orientation officially starts this Monday. I'm surprised that it's still Thursday. It's as if the days leading up to starting my job are slooooowing to a crawl.

White Center, Capitol Hill, Downtown, Ballard, U District, Chinatown, Mt. Baker, Beacon Hill, Georgetown, getting lost near the Boeing Field airport, and finally rerouting back to White Center via Spokane St. bridge and Delridge. Wait a fucking second. Did all of this happen over the span of just one day? And it's only 6pm?

Today's been a hell of a day, and I still have yet to find a good milk crate to mount on the back of my moped.

Good god. I every time I take my moped for a ride, I have an uncontrollable urge to put on Ride On Shooting Star by The Pillows.

@Cobalt @Oneironott Honestly. I try my damndest to avoid calling it a disability. Seeing things nobody else can see, being in tune with the universe on a transcendental level, is a gift. But society frames it as something bad.

@Cobalt @Oneironott Exactly. What's worse is when they try slapping you with prejudices, infantilize you, and turn your quirks into insecurities.

It's as if they can only perceive a disability if it's physical. The whole "I can't see it so it must he made up" schtik that's so typical of a two-dimensional being.

Good news! Once my friend Clarice moves out of the trailer, it's all mine. It's just a matter of waiting for her live-aboard status to be confirmed at the marina next door.

For those who are wondering, I have a temporary living situation where Koko is safe and out of the smoke. We have an air filter running and she's doing okay.
