@fribbledom @rekh127@sunbeam.city Still not always the case; Xenoblade Chronicles skyrocketed in price very soon after release. I remember seeing it for $100 about one year after we got our copy, which was a few months after release. That said, it's true that most games fall in price fairly quickly.
@rekh127@sunbeam.city @fribbledom Oh, I've never heard of it happening to downloadable games. I'm referring to out-of-print games. Just look at the price tag on Earthbound, or Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, or Suikoden 2.
We don't play many PC games, so that didn't even cross my mind at all.

@softgoat@computerfairi.es They do both need to be the same type of RAM, though; you can't mix DDR3 and DDR4, or DDR3 and DDR2 if you get a very old laptop.
Don't worry about DIMM versus SODIMM; if it's a laptop it'll be SODIMM.
@softgoat@computerfairi.es They don't even have to both be 1066 mhz, but they'll both run at the speed of the slower one.
@softgoat@computerfairi.es If you get one, add more ram; 4gb is simply not enough for modern systems.

It's always good to know that Japan knows exactly what I want in a comic:

It's not 100% reliable but on most LEDs, the anvil is the negative side, and the post is positive.
You can always check the datasheet, too, but I find people don't often remember the exact part number, or even brand, of the LEDs to look it up.
