@Felthry
Cadmium: NiCd battery
Indium: Galinstan?
Tin: coins, anything bronze
Antimony: ??
Tellurium: ??
Iodine: iodized salt
Xenon: ?? (xenon arc lamps are too expensive)
Cesium: Some vacuum tubes used a caesium-alloy cathode

Cerium: the "flint" of a flint-and-steel
Praseodymium: ??
Neodymium: magnet
Promethium: ??
Samarium: ??
Europium: ??
Gadolinium: ??

Dysprosium: ??
Holmium: ??
Erbium: Optical fiber equipment?
Thulium: ??
Ytterbium: ??

@Felthry

Zirconium: Fake diamond?
Niobium: Niobium capacitor?
Molybdenum: ??
Technetium: ❌

@Felthry And now that I'm thinking about this, I'll continue it:

Potassium: Sodium-free salt
Calcium: Chalk, like you said
Scandium: ???
Titanium: Probably some expensive pen or jewelry
Vanadium: ??
Chromium: Stainless steel silverware
Manganese: Manganese dioxide from a battery
Iron: Paperclip
Cobalt: Wasn't there a cobalt-based audiotape formulation?
Nickel: Most coinage contains nickel, iirc
Copper: wire
Zinc: galvanized nail

@Felthry You skipped magnesium (calcium comes after potassium, not sodium), which you could get from sparklers or those fancy magnesium-alloy car wheels.

Bleach would be good for chlorine as well, as you were trying to fit into the 500 character limit earlier.

@Terrana@tootplanet.space @Felthry Non-low-sulfur diesel fuel, maybe?

@Terrana@tootplanet.space I like teasing Felthry with them.

Having exceptionally large paws makes driving difficult.

@vahnj Should I do that, or should the instance admin do so?

@KT Hey @vahnj, this sounds like a good instance to federate with.

@daggertooth@monsterpit.net @Felthry What did I do to cause this?

@Dex @Felthry For sufficiently old games, we have a softmodded PS2 that works well for emulation, though we mostly just use our computer for it.

@Felthry, let me take over for a while. You're getting too stressed to function.

@Dex @Felthry Still, $70-ish is out of our price range at the moment. We would probably use it for emulating PS1 and GBA at the latest, so the unsurprising fact that it can't emulate n64 or ps2 well isn't a problem.

@nezali@vulpine.club If you want to talk about your past, you can. We don't know you in particular very well yet, but I'm sure you're a good person. You're certainly surrounded by good influences. *offers hugs*
