Like, in the systems they derive from (Final Fantasy = D&D), changes in defense stats are relatively rare once you hit a certain baseline, but your main survivability gains come from additional HP each level.

I'm increasingly not convinced that typical jrpg levelling systems increasing HP by a lot and defense at the same time really makes it ambiguous how each stat contributes to survivability and I wonder if it wouldn't be more intuitive to do it differently

Not really a fan of this Undertale streamer. Kind of feeling disappointed that this event has just turned out to be a total bust for me so far.

Timespinner looks like a neat little metroidvania too. I love finding new little games I've never heard of on stream like this.
