@angrboda I think you can still see and talk to people you follow on a de-federated server?
@Soreth okay, cool. The idea of having my last social media presence entirely beholden to someone's beef (I get that it's more intense than that, and that 'drama' trivializes real shit, but not knowing the details it's harder to see it that way) was not super appealing, haha
@angrboda Yeah, I'm not 100% sure that's completely how it works, but that's what I've gotten from listening to some talk about it. I'd have some serious misgivings if defederation just killed all links to anybody on that instance.
