@anthracite That is ABSOLUTELY a Foglio face
@zx3 @anthracite o..O
To this day, I hate that the card game wanted you to rip up the cards you "popped".
@zx3 @JulieSqveakaroo @anthracite I think I have a knock-off Mink from Dragon Half promo card around somewhere... it was like "Mika Dragonget" or something
@Soreth @zx3 @JulieSqveakaroo @anthracite I... um... have fond memories of Robot Queen Rugosa and the Mind-Control Doodad (even if the nitwit artist spelled it "DODAD" on the helmet itself *sigh*).
Aw, hell, you know... I'd probably do Nik the Fodunk too.
I've never had my preden7ine mass biffled. At least not by anyone who knew what they were doing, sorry @anthracite!
@JulieSqveakaroo @zx3 @Soreth @anthracite I can kinda understand it in cultural context since there was such a huge backlash going against card speculators and people who obsessed over keeping their cards pristine.
I recall there was one in On The Edge that required you to draw a mustache on the card's illo of Mona Lisa in order to activate it. :D
Above all, I just think it's hilarious how fast WOTC realized MTG ante had unintended consequences that DID NOT WORK OUT WELL AT ALL. :)
@zebratron2084 @zx3 @Soreth @anthracite
*Giggles* OH, GOSH, yeah... we were terrified of the ante card.
Foglio Face? Isn't that a font? If not it should be.
@KinkyTurtle @zx3 @anthracite It has a special ligature for "oo" so that the second o is always taller than the first.
