@chalcedony@octodon.social @kara@occult.camp @zebratron2084 oh gods, when I went interviewing for therapists years ago I had a session with one whose body language *screamed* that she was *terrified* of me. it was just a preliminary interview! I felt vastly uncomfortable, and spent the entire time trying to reassure her. I have no idea if she really was scared of me, or if that was her normal body language, but it unnerved the crap out of me.

@green @kara@occult.camp @chalcedony@octodon.social Did I ever tell ya about the one in Boston who snap-diagnosed me as a pathological narcissist because I (a) said I spent a LOT of time roleplaying online (b) admitted I spent a lot of time worrying what other people thought about me (c) was really fantasy-prone. Never mind the fact I spend MOST OF MY WAKING HOURS worrying about all the ways I may have hurt my friends. :|
