If the phone rings before I'm off-shift I think I'm just going to scream "Have you no respect for the DEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAD?!?!" and hang up.
Update:
First customer issue has been definitively proven to be a network issue that they have to fix, and not our fault.
I managed to get the Big Important Customer on the meeting with Development, and the issue was resolved after multiple hours - but it IS resolved.
The third customer conference call.... was not great, but at least our response of "we need more information to help" was acceptable. It helps that the customer royally fucked up internally when collecting the info we asked for.
Guess who fucked up last night and didn't invite the (already frustrated) Big Important Customer to the troubleshooting meeting with Dev today?
At least that's only one out of three big important customer conference calls that I fucked up on? One is already successful at least. The third won't be great. :/

@mawr I can't guarantee they actually do it, but in theory it's very possible with a lot of small straws!

You know, I like this. I have never really been one for reaching upwards, even though I thought it was the only possibility for the longest time.
Another day, another customer who completely exhausts me.
Bucket list item: Walk outside and see the gentle curve of the horizon turn upward until it's the mind-blowing arch of a Ringwold or other ring-shaped megastructure.
@anthracite Oh, this is me thinking of exit strategies more than anything else.
Mind you, I really do wish my job was a lot less interesting than it is, sometimes. I could do with less excitement in general from my workplace.
The main problem with working from home is that it's very difficult to set the building on fire and walk away without looking back while you wear really cool sunglasses and someone with a boombox provides a really kicking diagetic soundtrack for the moment.
