Just got a preview of the first con badge I'm commissioned since, uh... 2005? And I'm like ooooo, because it's me with a chest, but I'm also like, "wait, am I showing off too much boob here?"

Just got harangued by the neighbor across the street for parking "too close" to the car in front of me... on my side of the street, legally, leaving plenty of room for another vehicle to park behind me, and for the vehicle in front of me to get out safely. Seriously, there's plenty of room between me and them, and them and the car in front of them.
I don't think she understands what distances are.

Brain debris, that monster
Two years ago, I had a conversation with That Monster where I laid out everything that he'd done, everything I was suffering through because of him. The best of me and the worst of me aligned, and for closure and castigation both I contacted him. He was not prepared for it.
It diminishes me to think like this, but part of me really hopes that every December he gets scared that I might show up to repeat that again.
