I just watched the sun set over the Pacific, with my toes in the sand and the water up to my ankles.

With whales dancing 'neath the sun, breaching up from the water and sending splashes high, near the horizon. Six or seven breaches, several fin slaps, and any number of spouts.

Magnificent.

(I did not see one up close in the water; we saw a 3d film on a spherical screen that showed them life size)

Saw four sea turtles today, and got to watch one of them come up for air - it was just about the cutest thing ever.

Almost 24 hours on Maui and Time has lost all meaning already.

Long day, but oh so worth it to stand here with my feet in the Pacific and a view like this

@Phorm So hey there's a new D&D class archetype they're testing out and it's up on Unearthed Arcana - https://media.wizards.com/2020/dnd/downloads/UA2020-Subclasses01.pdf page four and on. It's a genie-based warlock, your patron is a genie and there's bottles for your arcane focus.

If you're ever in town while my D&D game is running, I'll let you spot in for a session as a guest PC.

It'd be something off from the main plot, probably a bit of a one-off in a specific location to keep things simple and in one area and easy for a new person.

Boy, that sure was a super upsetting dream that I cannot remember in the slightest after waking.
