I am newly reminded that I'm sad that modern English has largely eliminated six of its nine major prepositional locative adverbs. Each had a prefix indicating the place and a suffix indicating the direction:
h-: "this place"
th-: "that place"
wh-: "what place?"
and
-ere: "in such a place"
-ence: "from such a place"
-ither: "to such a place"
The surviving forms, of course, are "here" ("in this place"), "there" ("in that place"), and "where" ("in what place?"). But we used to have
hence: "from this place"
hither: "to this place"
thence: "from that place"
thither: "to that place"
whence: "from what place?"
whither: "to what place?"
and I think our language is poorer for their elimination.

Prompt #1 yesterday was "10 words to yourself as a young kid". Ten words isn't much. But it's enough to warn your past self about the single most traumatic relationship they'll ever experience.
Ten words is also enough to tell your past self that they're trans.
It wasn't even a cold calculus, thinking "if I change my past enough early enough I'll probably never meet him", it was just the thought that the gender stuff was the more important thing to say to a younger me. "You don't have to be a boy, hormone therapy - estradiol" would have been enough to set my young mind on fire years early.
I might have still met my horrible ex, I might have not. But to think of something else as more important to me than preventing my past self from falling in love with That Monster.... I must be healing?

"I currently hold a 4.0 G.P.A at Bunker Hill Community College and was pregnant the entire time. I had a baby a month early and drop all of my classes because of the difficult recovery and living as a single mother in a shelter with a newborn and sick toddler.
Without knowing, I didn’t drop a class and it went into collections, my transcript for bunker hill is now on hold for 2k. I’m asking for help with funds for this as well as funds for 3 classes at Deaf INC in Allston... Lastly, funds would also be going to College application fees and scholarships applications fees to Northeastern University, Boston University, Northern Essex Community College, Bristol Community College, Gallaudet University Online, and Framingham State University."

A Polish trans activist named Margot was arrested. Her "crime" is minor destruction of property (she cut up a tarp on a truck covered with vicious anti-LGBT propaganda).
Her pre-emptive arrest for two months was authorized by a court, despite the fact that such arrest, by Polish law, are meant to be used for people who are a flight risk or an immediate danger to others.
