CW food, ethical Q

So our school does "hot lunches" which are essentially the prepared kinda meals you could get at your local grocery store.

The kids don't always eat them. One boy left his today entirely unopened.

Is it ethical for me to steal it for my own lunch? It's just going to be thrown away.

@gamehawk

Omg seriously? I knew corrupt corps like Starbucks had rules like that, but I would have assumed the government would have donation guidelines for unused food.

Tbh I don't know how government-funded our school lunches are. We are a public school, but things like our art programs are almost entirely parent funded.
