re: size kink, dragongushing
@Oneironott It's why I'm big. It makes me feel more dragony.
tech cold-take, ads
The end-user has a moral imperative to use an adblocker and avoid interacting with advertising and metrics.
The entire advertising industry (and those complicit in it, like social media) is either morally corrupt in its data collection, or delusional in the effectiveness of its own metrics.
Besides the fact that millions of people are getting gender/racial/economically profiled by corporations without their knowing on an international scale, it just sucks to be treated like you're purely eyeballs to sell things to.
If people don't fight against the capitalist structure, then the walls of billboards will continue to close in on us.
@kistaro It's why 90% of my music collection is game soundtracks, and I'm so particular about the (midi-y) music I select for my *own* game projects.
... select because, I myself, cannot compose...
@Oneironott *raaar-sqrrk~!, big snoot nuzzling down an ott...*
@Oneironott *noses~*
@VoxSomniator I wouldn't say two references to greek is too much, so Echidna seems fun to me.
You could also give them a second name. The AI could've been codenamed Echidna and then they choose a new name for themselves. Supposing this AI has personhood rather than being pure function.
@monsterblue @kistaro I was mostly shitposting to try and explain how an eastern that, if long enough to encompass two stories, could also fit into a single bedroom/study~.
@kistaro Ah, the accordion kind.
re: Do you know what dragons look like? :dragnaww:
@mawr I know what a dragon looks like just by looking at myself!
@IceWolf @moonbolt I mostly suggest commissions because not everyone is an artist. Even if I would like more people to do art and create things. It means you can bring to the world things you want to see that you might not otherwise~.
But if that's too foreboding, commissioning other artists to help is good too... it's what helped with this dragon form...
@IceWolf Oh I mean, all my friends had many different characters because we were all creators and artists and the like. Characters as broader writing tools and elements of ourselves rather than wholesale identities.
I say fursona as a general "representation of you" for applicability to a concise post~. The character/OC stuff is kind of a tangent~. . w.
Sure, you don't have to make a fursona. In the past we had personas and OCs or fan characters and we RPed on IRC all the time. We at least had characters.
That stuff seems unheard of now because we all live on social media and services that don't have allowances for that sort of experience and interaction. But that's a whole other subject and point of frustration.
Point is though, is that I wanna see everyone's avatars be unique representations of themselves. Isn't it boring otherwise?
More people need to make fursonas.
Seriously.
I recognise people by their avatars, such that if I associate someone with... say, using an avatar of Madeline from Celeste, when I see someone else with the same avatar, I briefly think it's the same person.
Make your own fursonas. Get commissions. Use them as avatars. Be you, not just an ambiguous manifestation with an arbitrary name and face.
snarking about cis men, sexual entitlement, Twitter repost/retweet
These charts are hilarious for putting sigma after alpha or "outside the hierarchy" when Σ is closer to omega than to alpha in the greek alphabet.
Also why is sex and their relationship to Women As A Concept so important to these men?
is there nothing else to their personality

I'm an artist and something of a game dev living in New Zealand.
I talk about personal things that can get tangentially NSFW. While I wouldn't call this an after-dark account, it's kind of a mishmash personal account and prefer to mingle with people I know or trust.
