VR, nonhuman stuff
@Oneironott IIRC there's been some experiments with feedback for hand controllers, either with vibration or even movement resistance to emulate holding a physical item, so if they can do that with other accessories, like the waist tracker... ...
@DarkOverord @Felthry I've-- Toy has done it before, but toy doesn't always vibe it.
But it's great for those toys it does work out in the long run for~.
@DarkOverord No personal pronouns or referencing, only "its" or "the toy" or the like can feel pretty powerful~.
@DarkOverord Tails are very important. Especially dragon tails.
@Oneironott Good morning tail! And good morning to the rest of the creature too.
re: joking rebuttal to people complaining about the Voyager episode where people turned into lizards after going Warp 10
@Soreth Okay, but this means we'll just need to find even faster or more unusual speeds to turn into lizards after FTL.
... or well, there's probably more convenient ways to turn into lizards once you have FTL anyway.
@Veladynee Rrqk.
@DarkOverord I'm "big" too. Big dragon toy. Do not inflate indoors. (Or do.)
@DarkOverord Extremely a mood. I am also dragon, and toy.
@Hexizor Squeak~.
@kauko What if though??
griping about social media
I hate how I feel like I'm pleading for attention on stuff nowadays. A picture I spent weeks on has got little response, meanwhile a random comment I made in reply to someone with 100x more followers has got like 5x the reaction.
god twitter fucking sucks for art can we please use normal websites again

@Felthry That this is so common with social media should be classed as mass coercion.
@rats@plural.cafe I can't handle horror either!
But I'm fascinated by it from a design perspective, and the way strong atmosphere can work. I'm not interested in delivering scares in ideas as much as... well, atmosphere.
The idea was about how transhumanist tech could become a fashion for the able-bodied and someone like me, that would *benefit* from it, cannot get it. So if anything, the horrors would be able-bodied people (with robot tech) instead.
@rats@plural.cafe I am idly reminded of my own thoughts of making a horror game with a wheelchair-requiring protagonist, where inaccessibility makes some navigation difficult.
It was going to be based on my own fears/experiences regarding evolving society/technology leaving disabled people like me behind.
I'm an artist and something of a game dev living in New Zealand.
I talk about personal things that can get tangentially NSFW. While I wouldn't call this an after-dark account, it's kind of a mishmash personal account and prefer to mingle with people I know or trust.
