Hey, y'all~ I've been working on this for basically forever now, but I've finally finished 'n polished this science fiction worldbuilding guide to a level I deem satisfactory, so I'm calling this a release~
https://www.dropbox.com/s/u4wic4mfgxe9i9g/worldbuildingguide.txt The .txt version, for viewing offline~
https://www.dropbox.com/s/smtvbr94ei0mbl8/worldbuildingguide.html The browser edition~
https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5n1h1vzdb09lum/wbgascii.txt Aaaand some bonus cut content in the form of what would've been big ASCII artworks between chapters that didn't make it into the final cut. <3
... in fact, have a Telegram channel for future fixes! https://t.me/scifikickstartguide
Along with a Discord server, if Telegram proves inaccessible. https://discord.gg/JJUxNZE
@Thaminga Okay, so, I legitimately want to read this for all kinds of reasons, but when I chose to refer to myself as an amateur typographer, I took an oath that I would never, ever try to read text in lines greater than 66 letters without having a serious talk with whoever set the text. I'll not break that oath – ink lives longer than blood!
More seriously, it is just plain _laborious_ to try to read wide lines like that. I'm really tempted to HTML-ify this for you. :)
@ElectricKeet Admittedly yeah, I didn't really think that part through before doing all my formatting in Notepad. n.n;
@ElectricKeet ... that said, it's still a significantly shorter line length than Wikipedia on full screen.
Also note that while this has been the better part of a year in the making, even with a good month of editing I likely haven't caught everything, so do let me know if you find something wrong!
