@IceWolf > calmly sit back up and look at wolf, pet some more, say "Mm, you're adorable. Sorry for spooking you... even if you probably can't understand me."
@IceWolf > wag tail, give wolf's nose a little lick and smile without showing teeth
@IceWolf > let out a whine and roll onto side, look up at wolf
@IceWolf > cautiously reach up to rub behind wolf's ears, perk own to surroundings
@IceWolf > keep self shrunk down into a fittingly nonthreatening position in spite of appearance [a 7' tall wolfwoman covered in fur from head to toe with a very lupine face, a long tail, long arms that could function as secondary legs if necessary and digitigrade legs, wearing the torn-up remains of her previous outfit], tilt head; say "Hey, it's okay, c'mere."
re: gender stuff
@Oneironott @EGKangaroo Yeah, I feel this. I'm a woman, yes, but at the same time there's also those times where I'm simply this big beastly wolf thing with little sense of gender to speak of; the werewolf part ties into things just as much as general femininity does, to me.
@KitRedgrave yeah! shit, even messing around with just intonation and intervals you don't really encounter in Western music may be worth it (1/1 - 8/7 - 9/7 - 3/2 - 12/7 for a septimal twist on the ol' major pentatonic, for instance)
@KitRedgrave Pentatonic scales in general are pretty great for that, regardless of what kind~ Enough tones to sound interesting, not enough for them to clash horribly unless you pick a -really- dissonant scale for them.
Of course, you can go practically anywhere with the scale itself... experimenting with stuff outside 12-TET may be worthwhile, too.
@IceWolf > lean over to nuzzle and press hand into licks; it's large, covered in fur with patches of bare skin on the inside giving the impression of paw pads, and has long claws on the fingertips
@IceWolf > howl, look back at the wolf, sit on haunches and offer more pets
@AzureHusky I can only imagine. x.x
@IceWolf > gaze up and give in to the urge to shift into something far more similar to the wolf - if much larger and still bipedal
@AzureHusky Good, tbh
if it's friends and shit that's one thing but random strangers trying to ~improve~ on your jokes like that just come off as rude as shit
@IceWolf (gladly!)
> continue petting and relax, take what's supposed to be a quick nap on far too little sleep
@IceWolf > pet wolf and rub behind ears, check moon phase
plea to register to vote in the UK elections
It's the socialism or barbarism election.
If you don't have a personal reason to vote, or you feel like you have some duty to abstain, please consider the lives of people like me who have suffered a lot from Tory governance:
- 2016: Had to desperately figure out a pathway to British Citizenship due to terrible new housing/employment laws
- 2018: Had my benefits removed because of Tory quotas and health assessments, struggling to survive ever since
re: species, brain convo, tf
@Kyresti @Oneironott That pretty accurately describes me too, to be honest. A sliding scale that goes from "outwardly a typical human being with a few weird traits" all the way to "giant wolflike beast equally comfortable on two or four legs, clearly sapient but in a manner warped beyond recognition".
I swear to god I've never actually touched Werewolf: the Apocalypse.
