But at the same time... knowing the kind of shit we've both been involved in I feel like we've gotten an *unusually* bad example of how good things could get. Like, we've both had a space that should ultimately have been about radical self-expression instead just tie us down into irresolvable quagmire that almost entirely happened because it was pracitcally *policy* there not to communicate a single goddamn thing if you had problems with someone until it was far, *far* too late. You've been burned by that, I've been burned by that at a significantly younger age where I was arguably still developing no less, many others have as well.

I guess what I'm basically saying is... better things *are* possible. You've been lied to, but not necessarily by the show itself.
