Hello all, I have kinks for and consensual role-play scenes that sometimes would be illegal if it were:
-reality, not fantasy
-non-consensual
Take it for someone who has a LITTLE bit of experience on the issue of fantasy vs reality
It -isn't- the same thing

For instance, I have role-played, on occasion, scenarios that would constitute literal, actual murder if they were done in the orthocosm (reality).
The difference being that at the end of the day, I know that, given consent, the only think I'm giving the person at the end of the scenario is, hopefully, arousal or relief of some kind.
Another difference being that at the end, they are fine, and we can all continue on like it never happened.

I have been around furry and kink for over 15 years, and I can assure you the number of times I have seen anyone bring up issues with gore fetishes:
It's 0.
On the other paw, I have seen this frequently brought up with:
-Ageplay & ABDL
-Feral
-psuedo-/rape play
WHILE I would acknowledge there is a grey area around visibility of such things, and talk around such nets a big "hmm, IDK" from me.

However, I would probably argue, and personally think that the simple act of enjoying these things does not constitute "a bad thing" nor does engagement in the private role-play of such activities between consenting adults harm anyone as a result.

I know many who engage in ageplay and ABDL. They're nice people. Most are here on Mastodon.
My GF is younger than me and calls me "mommy."
No harm in that.
Most of the ageplay I've seen isn't even sexual. It's more about feeling small or innocent or cared for and caring.
"Kink" is a very big word... a four-letter word. It is applied too liberally and too often with unpleasant connotations.
I'm glad you understand about consenting adults.
