Self-doubt, job hunting

Still going for that second job in Behavior Therapy, despite self doubts.

Employers want to talk to me and that's good but also terrifying. My self-evaluation of how well I can do at the job seems totally mood-dependent.

Sometimes I'm "Yeeeah bring it on!!" and other times (like now) I want to cocoon up in some blankets and hide.

It's okay to show the outside world one face while you keep your true feelings and doubts inside.

My wife used to say, "Brave front, happy face!" every morning before going in to work. She hated her work.

Point is, recruiters need not know your self-doubts. They're human. They have doubts, too.

We all know that you can do the job. Your stronger than you know.

Thanks, Mel. <3 That's definitely where I'm at.

I do like my current job and I don't think I'll hate the one I'm going for, but I do feel very inexperienced and worried about how I'll do. It's entry level though, so on some level it's okay to be inexperienced.

Thank you though, this was nice to read. I spent the last 3 hours in bed just feeling anxious and trying to comfort myself. I feel better now, but I don't want to have to do that everyday.
