Come with me to the grocery store
@ThatDamnCat did Sara write the bottom part? I'm assuming the kiddo wrote ravioli
kiddo wrote the bottom part. Sara wrote ravioli.
@ThatDamnCat lmfao good. Was she holding the pencil in her teeth when she wrote it?
Anyway, if you're getting ravioli make sure you get pesto and parmesan too. *nods*
She was holding it in her left hand and was writing in an awkward position.
This made me giggle.
She says she will buy the parmesan and pesto because she likes Trader Joe's and I don't, and I'm okay with this.
Hehe, she's a silly.
You don't like trader joes???!?!?!??!?!111
blaspheme.
but ya their parmesan is pretty good.
Some of their food is alright. A lot was overpriced.
In general, nah, their brands don't appeal to me as much.
It's all good
Hmmm, maybe by Texas standards. In California their stuff is fairly cheap compared to the other places you can get organic/vegetarian stuff.
I'm disappointed that you don't want to have a death match with me over my choice of grocery stores, but I'll let it go. :P
Well, I do like a healthy competition...
I counter with Central Market, locally. They're larger, staffed with people who actually care about food, and will let you open 11 different bags of cheez doodles to find a brand you like.
You'll have to come visit someday. Lots of veggie options here and Mr. Natural is just down the street.
I have very little "brand loyalty" to anything because the concept of brand loyalty is pretty terrible, imo.
But I do have it towards trader joes and peets, for some goddamn reason.
Maybe because I've liked them since I was a kid? Idk.
Local natural foods stores do tend to be pretty good, I agree there.
I like Peets because it's where my dad always went, and I loved the smell and the memories.
Central Market is actually an off-shoot of a large grocery chain in Texas called H.E.B. They really do a great job with running stores.
Come shop with me. 🐱
