Interestingly, Schedule EIC is literally just a form that asks for my kid's names, SSNs, birthdates, and whether or not they are under 24 and live with me.
IT ASKS FOR NO INCOME INFO AT ALL
My refund is delayed by a sign-in sheet.

I qualified for the EIC when filing my taxes.
Clever me forgot to ATTACH schedule EIC to my tax return.
Now I need to do the dumb form and send it in to get my refund.
Things are finally looking up! Both HDDs are now recognized and I can get things going right today!
