Ban cars discourse and ableism
I don't think this applies to any mutuals, but in general... could we please get a little nuance around the ban cars movement?
Don't get me wrong--I'm for. Give me, a mobility-impaired adult, access to good, reliable public transport.
But for the love of Hecate remember that there are Disabled people like me who rely on cars (taxi, Lyft, etc.) to get around.
What's the catch-phrase? "If your revolution doesn't include the Disabled, it's not revolutionary."
