I’m so happy EEAAO got the recognition it deserved. It was the first film I saw in theaters after Covid hit, and it was such an amazing treat.

I’ve honestly been hesitant to re-watch it at home. I’m still in awe at its trick of using an avalanche of absurdist imagery to break down your defenses and deliver a sincere emotional appeal. I want to hold onto that magic for a little longer.
