@BathysphereHat stop looking in my brain! *goes back to organizing game*
@BathysphereHat right and serious lasting systemic change doesnt come from a top of ballot vote it comes from years of organizing and winning local elections. You vote for the not fascist so you have the room to make those changes.
@BathysphereHat what even is that supposed to mean? Like sure, groovy, you had the last few years to do that if we are in september to november 2024 you have run out of time to find the person tying people to the tracks or whatever in this overstretched metaphor. You put in the not fascist so you can continue to do that work because the kind of systemic change demands decades of work not singular elections
@BathysphereHat I maintain there are a ton of giant question marks going into 2024 and it is not settled but this seems like a pretty reasonable stance to me.
@BathysphereHat I literally never understand what is the hard part for people on this point. Tear down fasciste first and foremost seems like a legitimate praxis to me and yet...
Vote against the fascist candidate next year. "But both candidates are-" No. We are fighting for our lives. VOTE AGAINST THE FASCIST CANDIDATE NEXT YEAR. #USpol

re: American Politics-- Ken Paxton
Very personally this sort of confirms my prior beliefs that dichotomous thinking continues to over inform people's behaviors far too much.
