@BathysphereHat One of my early boyfriends had this odd love of collecting old porn from the 70's and 80's and a part of me is glad he showed me it because the stuff now is shockingly tame in so many ways.

We've changed as a society for good or ill but I wish more folks had a better handle on the perspective of how very similar we are to our forebearers and yet different.

@cooner and propaganda about the benefits of home schooling. When I was a children's librarian I actually read some of the homeschooler magazines and pamphlets they put out. Theyre... something.

There are times homeschooling can work for some families and kids of course but like with any education system its depending on the people involved.

I have such a visceral hatred of machine learning art. I'm not sure why but it actually just sours me on people who use it. I perhaps should try to understand why I have such a strong reaction but who has the time for introspection these days?
