I agree with the large number of people out there that the debt ceiling as a concept makes no logical sense and is tailor made for the GOP to use as a bludgeon when they have a weak legislative hand.

Honestly, I do think the Biden Administration misjudged aspects of the early negotiation and it is not good in general this happened. Again.

That all said it is good to have the bill passed. I could see a dozen ways the Biden Administration could have mishandled negotiations and given away far more. I don't like major aspects of it but it could have been worse. I'll count it as a "win"
