book sale

To celebrate, I'm offering a 20% discount in my store for copies on Scars and my other book, 'Knotty Works.' Just use the coupon code URSAMAJOR.

The discount runs through the March 7th, where I have to pack up my books and then head to Fur the 'More.

In addition, I'm now offering media mail shipping, which is a lot cheaper than priority mail. It just takes a good bit longer to get there.

@nighteyes just as long as Indont have to eat the crab quiche I make

@nighteyes *takes notes* okay that could mean we need to find a fish market, a shack for crabs, or make a crab quiche and a shellfish bisque

@nighteyes okay so you have one of the clues for the quest. Keep it in your inventory we might need it later to secure the magnificent mcguffin of malodorous malfeasance

Adhd

@oceanotter a spectrum of "ugh, could we not"

I agree it isnt healthy and it can lead to unfortunate outcomes. Frustrating to be sure

Okay found out a friend who wrote one of the stories, Rob MacWolf, and their significant other sent me it. That is sweet, I will likely read their story this weekend and likely Huskyteer and @nighteyes

Still trying to figure out the magic card they sent. I swear if this is part of some convoluted treasure hunt or quest....

Adhd

@oceanotter yeah, I agree. I also have ADHD and it is just frustrating seeing people do that. Still like all trends it will wither. All we can do is be ourselves and communicate. *sends hugs*

Yeah as this book continues it really is haphazard in many ways and to a degree it feels like a mean tragedy and well... Poirot is not the right detective for this story of story. The enitre work feels tonally jarring.

Speculation,

@iBolt07 I mean... I would certainly ask some follow up questions

Indifference really is the keenest knife

Star Trek

@artfulreggie and yeah very true they both had strong and weak points and areas for impovement and solid moments. So did TNG and Discovery, and TOS really.

Star Trek

@artfulreggie yeah I do love Lower Decks it does a nice job lampooning the source material while delivering a decent show

Star Trek

I get why other people love DS9 and I never will just as I understand why I love Voyager and understand why other people do not.

DS9 isnt a bad show. It is tightly written, great actors, solid ideas. I think its great people can enjoy it.

@pendragon she could be. I have a lot of thoughts there. Much like wheel of time I might write an insipid essay
