my friends keep getting worried about me and my self esteem because i say "sorry" about things that aren't my fault, and i'm getting culture shock because i grew up around people for whom the word "sorry" means "an event has occured"

As we move more and more away from Twitter I've noticed way less drama of the week getting circulated and talked about. I honestly believe that most hot button issues like poodling or "breaking the magic" were things no one was ever actually mad about and that social media encouraged anger for the sake of engagement.

Wendell skin from Fortnite, I can’t wait till he’s released!

@Talcott Oh I firmly believe that and I don't think it was even intentional. The algorithm promoted stuff getting heavy engagement and couldn't give context or evaluate if something needed to be noted.

Ezra Miller

Well goodness gracious I actually saw a Flash trailer. Talk about things I thought I would never see

Tommy and Tuppance

Still Tommy and Tuppance is exactly the style and feeling I would want to hit for a 1920s ttrpg like I have always wanted to do with Adventure! The problem is finding players who want to do that style is hard

Agatha Christie's The Secret Adversary

Christie changed her writing style a lot over the decades a lot of her early books like Murder on the Links, Brown Suit, and The Secret at Chimneys are more spy thrillers and charming adventures though they have mystery elements.

Tommy and Tuppance play well as a dime store adventure and thats charming to someone who enjoys this sort of story

Still Incan see why Mysterious Affair, Adversary, and Brown Suit are just not as well remembered or adapted

Agatha Christie's The Secret Adversary

I had never read a Tommy and Tuppance tale but decieed to start and overall it is very fun. A bit flawed and not the best but fun.

Learning this was Agatha Christie's second book after Myterious Affair at Styles was interesting as well as illuminating.

Doomerism

@tilton ah, sorry you are feeling that way. I will try and do better on my end. Still sometimes triming and pruning your feed is important. Good luck.
