Stargazers are interesting. I really like the idea of werewolves who contemplate the contridictions of who they are, but they never feel like group I could play well
I love the Uktena and the Wendigo as concepts but I also can see why peooke find them problematic and questionable. Still they are really compelling and interesting to me. I like to play with the concept.
I get why people love the bone gnawers. They just arent my flavor and I find them annoying.
I never liked how they presented the Children of Gaia in game systems but I love the concept of werewolves who believe in the power of negotiation and pacifism. Choosing when to fight and how to fight as acts of strength are interesting concepts
I get why folks love the Fianna but they never grabbed me which is odd as i love celtic lore and style so youd think artistic warrior celtic werewolves would be my jam and donuts but... nope
Honestly though if I was doing it I would have spent a bit more time on the wedding and bringing in Georgie's friends she helped along the way in her adventures. Maybe revist some old favorites and friends
Four Weddings and Maybe a Wedding was actually pretty solid. I would have done the story differently but the criminal conspiracy was really clever and the story worked. I dont love this series enough to pace it out. Its trashy fun but i might just finish the last three books quickly so theyre done
Besides I hear the next ine Love and Death Among the Cheetahs is pretty controversial
The Red Talons make perfect sense in setting and their politics make sense but I can see why a lot of people find them frustrating to play with
Never really got the Silver Fangs but I am glad as the years progressed the Shadow Lords became a lot more interesting. The glow up of scheming viziers to clever manipulators who dont worry about being seen as honorable worked well
The series remains bonks and Georgie is frustrating as a person. At the same time the Georgie of book 1 wouldnt be able to handle a gang of theives trying to murder her and also standing up for herself
This one wasnt bad. I am avout 70% done and there are aspects that work. the series is still trashy reading for me and I wish the main character was more critical of herself and the politics but... I still have fun.
It is nice to see in this series Georgienjas grown over the books (and she does grow) and by now she is a fairly confident person and able to handle some of these things
