VR has been a struggle for me. I absolutely wish it wasn't, but I run up against the same social anxiety that makes my day-to-day IRL life so difficult. But I have friends for whom it has been a literal transformative experience in their lives and I'm not willing to write off their experience because Apple made a headset for rich people.

All right so here's where I'm at:
Workplace is essentially sending my department home because of lack of work for a myriad of reasons.
I've been dependent on Uber and stream to supplement but college is making that hard.
I AM looking for another job that I can work around my college schedule and I do have plans to make things better. But I've been losing 20-30 hours at work per check (2 weeks) for 2 months and it won't improve "until Christmas".
Could use any help I could get rn 💕

I say this, of course, as someone who doesnt like Spiderman so my view isnt the important one here. Just my view Disney made a choice and I can appreciate trying something different that was "fine" but didnt "catch on"

Honestly I understand what people mean about Spiderman in the MCU. My contention is they had to do something different because they already had two solid spiderman franchises that leaned into Peter Parker and they wanted to differentiate so an awakward dorky young guy enamored with Tony Stark wasn't a bad character choice.
He should have been Miles Morales but they were clearly scared out of their wits about THAT.
Its good seeing the Spiderverse/Miles Morales being successful
