I got to talk to a coworker about video games, which is probably the bright spot of work today. We were talking about Dead Cells and I had to stop myself short from saying 'me and my boyfriend are both playing it', because for 2 seconds I was happy enough that I forgot where I was.

I finished Donut County. It was very cute! I kind of liked how short it was compared to the the longer games I’ve been playing.

I got donut county (about 30% because I'm assuming it's going to be the next big Furry Thing) and it's definitely lived up to my expectations - the copywriting especially is very good.

I gotta admit that like... 1.5% of the reasons I'd love to get to live with/near Abe is so I have an excuse to go all in on painting tiny tabletop shit

I don't think I was ever at a 'delete everything' stage, because at a point twitter became my replacement for a journal (especially my AD) and getting rid of that stuff seems pointless. A lot of my early interactions with folks who would become good friends (or my boyfriend, haha) are buried in there and I wouldn't want them gone.

@Balina @Balina this is the pits, I'm sorry. I'm in the same boat re: wanting folks to move off twitter but I've kind of accepted that I'm just gonna lose touch with folks at the price of not having to check it, because it does too much damage. I get if that's not a trade-off you feel like you can make, though. (Sorry for the repost, just wanted to add a CW)

Tiny homemade danishes (turnovers? Idk. They're crescent rolls). I have cream cheese cinnamon icing for these and they're 👌🏻

@Soreth okay, cool. The idea of having my last social media presence entirely beholden to someone's beef (I get that it's more intense than that, and that 'drama' trivializes real shit, but not knowing the details it's harder to see it that way) was not super appealing, haha

3/4 of one of the bushels made into sauce and canned. Tomorrow I'm making apple & cream cheese danish. This is Too Many Apples.

@kotep I think she's a mix of quad and bipedal? IDK. I don't really love the aesthetic of full feral, so I'd prefer to keep her head/shoulders/boobs more anthro, tbh.

@angrboda here’s the character pre-tf. I really wanted her armor to be dumb mmo armor that’s totally non functional / extremely anime. She’s a myrmidon.

So much of my output is like... taking a trope or piece of media and 'fixing' it - like, what if instead of being a gross incel fantasy full of big tiddy the stuck in an mmo genre catered to me and fulfilled its hotness potential (the tiddy can stay)

@kotep yeah, behemoth was also something I was thinking hits the right notes, haha. I guess we're on the same wavelength! I think it would be hot to mix in a lil bit of scaly stuff (belly scutes are super hot) but overall mostly mammal. I really want her to be quadrupedal (but not totally feral) by the end.

@kotep I like the smilodon idea; it's something I was thinking about looking through examples of monsters (mostly monster hunter) online.
