One intrusive thought I keep dealing with is the worry that everything that happened this year has fucked me up in some irreparable way that I'll never manage to shake.

Even beyond that, the idea of being on some kind of trauma treadmill where I'm constantly working to put away old stuff while new stuff keeps happening is rough.

@ctrlaltdog@chitter.xyz I think some places (at least, in the US) have okay tax incentives for solar and that's most of the effort to make it affordable - I'm in the process of getting solar and that definitely made it more feasible as someone who is solidly middle class. Capitalism sucks but at least we can look forward to seeing renewables destroy fossil fuels because they're much cheaper? It gives me a tiny bit of hope.

Went to a show to see St. Motel and Jimmy Eat World and it was way better than I expected! I've seen both of them in concert before (jimmy forever ago) but they were as good if not better.

I've debated putting the address for this account up on twitter but I'm thinking maybe I'll wait a while and keep this much smaller / chiller / more manageable. It's nice to have somewhere to post WIPs without stressing, if nothing else.

sketch for the missing page - I want to figure out a way to convey the emotion / tension in this one and do a more minimalistic / stylistically different page. Maybe something with very simple coloring w/ some plate slip.

Okay, I got the comic entirely lettered, but it looks like I'm going to have to add a transitional page where the monologue I'd written didn't flow right. A little frustrating but I'm going to majorly stylize it so it's not a super heavy lift.

Finishing this comic would be easier if I wasn't Super Depressed, but I'm trying

Is anybody watching any good anime? Currently watching Recovery of an MMO Junkie and My Love Story!! and enjoying both of them. I'd love another series like the former that focuses on adults and not middle / high schoolers.

I'm trying a new method of lettering where the page art is a separate file I can place as a smart object that I can easily update and its really useful so far
