Not a single fucking person at work got the Sopranos reference in my last example case. ;__;
(I made a reference to "Aprile Memorial Park" in "Pine Barrens, NJ." I even said "Streetview shows a forest on a hill, overlooking a little river, with pine cones all around." NOTHING. NOT EVEN FROM THE AMERICAN TEAM. I am fucking heartbroken. :> )

Also this reminds me that if you haven't seen any What We Do In The Shadows, I HIGHLY recommend it, especially the character of Colin Robinson the energy vampire... (You, friend, are emphatically the opposite of an energy vampire, but I think you'd still appreciate the show's sense of humor as well as Colin's character arc...)
