Facts You Should Know: scientists have found a torus of objects around our solar system, in the plane of the ecliptic.
Occasionally one of these objects descends into the main body of the solar system, and based on these incursions - which are visible as bright flares in the sky - we've been able to determine the objects' general composition. Surprisingly, it's largely denim and ice.
We call this torus of objects the Jort Cloud.
