all the new people coming to mastodon, and the resulting server issues, are stressing me out in a way i didn't expect it would
when i was on twitter in the early failwhale days, downtime just made me irritated. with the fediverse, i worry about its future. i'm surprised how invested i already feel about these spaces 😳
@raccoon i wish there were a way to follow public posts only? i don't mind not seeing the private stuff, but it would be nice to see what you share publicly without having to hope to catch it on the public TL
i imagine the UI for that could get complicated though…

i really need to manage my time better. a variety of deadlines with one client, and falling behind with another. instead i'm messing around on the mastodons and the awoos and the icosas...
