feeling a bit better? hung out with some friends. not very close friends but people i feel comfortable with anyway. i think it helps that this crowd is a little older than a lot of the people i usually hang out with. less posturing or something? anyway it was a nice chill night

sometimes i try to make an effort to be social with new people but i end up feeling bad about myself so i just immerse myself in code or whatever for a long time
