wassup I now own both PSP Cradles, AMA

the true home cinema experience, ideal for watching ワイルド・スピードX2 (Wild Speed X2)

(p.s. yes, the PSP’s best video output option is both letterboxed and pillarboxed if you plug it into a modern TV. There’s a 16:9 mode but it’s *really* inconsistent and movies and games behave differently from each other either way)

I had to test and yes, you can indeed play games with the PSP’s IR Remote. Given it can send only one button at a time, I wouldn’t recommend it though… pulling off Ratchet’s Hyper Strike (Jump then Square) was difficult enough haha

here’s the furthest point you can get to in Crash 2 with an IR remote without the “load game” skip or just quitting to the warp room

if you do skip to the warp room, Snow Go is er, now very aptly named

thanks for watching my crash bandicoot 2 (any%, single input at a time) speedrun, this is a world record of about eight minutes

you might get away with Transport Tycoon (PS1) with this setup but then you’d be playing Transport Tycoon (PS1)

@cat is the right part an universal TV remote? that's pretty cool

@noiob @cat I think so, it worked out of the box with our Sony TV (obviously I guess lmao) but I think there’s the option to change the codes?
