it was disgustingly hard to get out of bed this morning and i dunno if it's because of mh or because when i dazedly woke up at 3am it was pouring with rain

animal death
we found a mouse in the kitchen and tore everything off the counters (baking pans work well as makeshift walls), and then when it switched sides on us humans, roommate thought to put the cat on that side of the counter.
one small clatter of bottles later (nothing broken), he had a mouse!!! and then ran off with it and put it down for better appraisal. and let it go. (roommate whacked it)
he was Very disappointed we didn't let him keep the mouse.
