i've settled on a different heraldic constellation than my zodiac, because i never see it due to my latitude. it shows up around my birthday, is easy to see, and it warms me to look at it.

on the flight back, i looked out the window. there's no light pollution up at 36000 feet, so the sky was a vista of constellations. the first constellation i saw was that one.

felt like an affirmation.
