I made the mp3 into an mp4 for Mastodon like this:
convert -size 160x90 xc:#000000 black.png
ffmpeg -loop 1 -i black.png -i song.mp3 -c:v libx264 -tune stillimage -c:a aac -strict experimental -b:a 192k -pix_fmt yuv420p -shortest song.mp4
Do not ask me what most of the ffmpeg line does. Like most ffmpeg use, it is black magic, understood only by ancient priests.

my barreled action is in. it needs some love but it looks like it is in mostly working order.
i'll clean it up and inspected it. i'll need to get gauges if i want to check the head space.
however, even after all that, i'll probably have a proper gunsmith go over it to make sure it's safe to fire.
i was able to get a cheap, cut down stock to test fire with. it'll probably take a while to find a proper military stock for it.
