If yr having trouble finding Phantom Dust on the web Microsoft store, here's the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/phantom-dust/9pcdnbhr11mr
For those who aren't familiar: Phantom Dust was the next game by Yukio Futatsugi, formerly of Sega, after directing Panzer Dragoon Saga. It's a post-apocalyptic third-person action game with CCG elements - and it really works very well.
And yes, it's free. There are optional microtransactions for the multiplayer mode, but nothing free-to-play interferes with the single-player mode.
Phantom Dust is *out* for Windows on the Windows Store right now! https://awoo.space/media/uO6qxps7dEdeJh56kak
I just found out there’s a board game about shepherding where the sheep are represented by COTTON BALLS you keep in your pen https://awoo.space/media/dJ2CUIump9biSJZ3bh0
I see Neon takes the same approach to the internet I do (from @glitchedpuppet’s Floraverse) https://awoo.space/media/uN6IBDF2vswQ9BtCkC0

@vahnj Oh, and a bunch of UI enhancements - some of these made everything so much more convenient for me that I found it hard to go back to 3.4.3, haha. I think Nethack 3.6 incorporated some of the quality-of-life UI improvements.
* The Black Market, a town containing merchants selling overpriced goods and a powerful guard
* A bunch of new artifacts, including my fave, an artifact bag of holding
* A bunch of new sokoban levels
* Many new monsters and items
@vahnj It's based on 3.4.3, so some of the stuff in this later made it into vanilla Nethack. There's a whole lot, but some of the bigger stuff is:
* New starting races, Doppelganger and Vampire
* Race and class-specific special abilities - some of these are really cool
* Adjusted starting inventory and abilities for many classes, including much stronger monks
* The Mall, a Minetown-like shopping area that occurs early on in the main dungeon
Sleepy but powerful
