Someone who’s also lived in this place please reassure me that Seattle public transit sucks less than BART?

@Leucrotta when I was living in the Bay Area BART was pretty good in my experience. the Seattle transit system is very good--as long as you're going north/south. for some reason, getting anywhere east/west quickly becomes... challenging. on the other hand, I've been living here without a car, using solely transit, for *mumbletwenty?* years, so it's obviously good enough for me. ;)

One way the light rail sucks way less than BART: It's quieter. No track screaming. At all.

Downside: currently still one line, though Northgate and UW stations will open in another year or two. And lots of expansion planned.
Bus coverage varies but is generally pretty extensive.
