I really am trying to save people from the brunt of this. It's... it's bad in here right now.
On the other hand, I no longer have a whopping headache, Human Earth Money Job is in GREAT shape, our trip was the pleasant kind of boring, and the view from this train window is gorgeous.
Oh, and there's gonna be a new Good Place tonight. Simple pleasures, I guess. Good Place actually resonates with my situation in a lot of ways. More on that later. Watch the show, it's pretty good.

I've actually been slowly getting into that one, got it recommended to me as being a bit similar to People of Earth. Which is also good, in different ways.

@emanate IMHO the writing is a lot more broad and sitcommy than PoE, which always impressed me with its restraint and calm, especially when Ozzie was around. Good Place is much happier to be a sitcom on the surface, but it hides even more Mystery Box pleasures than PoE. It's one of those shows where if you think you've guessed the numerous big twists, you're probably entirely wrong. :)

@zebratron2084 Mmm, good to know it gets a bit weirder over time. That was the part I liked about the 3 episodes I've seen so far (of GP). Not the unlikeable person trying to be good but mostly succeeding in being 'bad' while most of the other characters around her are equally unlikeable. :-P
