Thanks for the company and dinner @memnus !
Every so often I get a song stuck in my head from my choir days back in high school (and a bit of college). This one popped into my head today and I...actually still have much of it memorized!
This is one of the most fun songs to perform, and here's a really excellent performance of it, complete with similar gestures to what I remember. (Don't worry, this isn't a religious song, but it is somewhat gender binary. :-P)
Well /damn/.
This is a bundle rather made for me. o.O

Plurality; Multiplicity
For a while, I was really enamored with gem fusion (see Steven Universe) as a metaphor for my selves and integration.
That's changed a bit; as they individuate more and more, I'm much more often just one at a time.
However, today I find myself a bird with electrical affinity instead of fire, and realize that this is likely a fusion between Lai and Yori (so, Yorai?) It's an interesting mindspace to explore, and I should think about the others in combination too.
woo
This is sacred, to me. ^_^
Attraction Scale
Saw this interesting diagram show up, relating to attraction scales. Neat stuff!
I'd call myself...somewhat between Orchid and Pink. Let's say Pink 3E. :-)
Also, because I'm me, I managed to track the source.

hot take re “if you’re not outraged you’re not paying attention”
paying bills, raising family, exploring yourself, having hobbies & social life are legit reasons not to pay attention.
Theoretically we have a government so we can NOT pay attention and focus on important personal stuff instead.
Including political concerns in our personal work is inevitable but not ideal. A situation in which we have to choose anger over the personally relevant in order to defend it is INCREDIBLY dysfunctional.
Playing a new board game called Professor Evil and the Citadel of Time, in which there's a professor who steals treasures through time.
My headcanon: The Professor is actually FtM trans, and his full name is Professor Cameron San DeEvil. Retired but actually not.
(Thanks to Xurnami and Grace for the name assistance. :-D)
Roy Moore tweets that we’ve got to go back to the recognition of god, and to that end I’ve created this handy god recognition chart you can keep in your pocket!

star trek: hey, the Prime Directive is don't meddle with uncontacted civilizations, except when we break that for convenience.
the Culture: yeah, we have a division for that, but we also have a division who just infiltrates less-advanced civilization groups and keeps them from destroying themselves if need be. we meddle in pretty much everything.

star trek: We're not a military, but a peaceful exploration force.
the Culture: We really really really don't like war, and not just because we'll wipe you out if we fight you, because our technology is actually just that good.
But no seriously, we don't like war. Stop doing war. Just stop it.

star trek: sentient AI is weird and rare and hey look, this one wants to be human, isn't that adorable? Let's adopt him!
the Culture: AI actually pretty much run most things, and it's cool. Some of them are a bit insane, and most of them are completely out of our understanding, but it's cool. We have a good thing going.

Riffing on @LexYeen 's trek/also-trek posting last night:
star trek: let's name our ships noble and good things. Enterprise. Voyager. Discovery. Stargazer.
the Culture: All our ships name themselves. So we get: Funny, It Worked Last Time. The Precise Nature Of The Catastophe. Stood Far Back When The Gravitas Was Handed Out. A Momentary Lapse Of Sanity.
Identity; Syncosms
Notably, during that initial dance, I was feeling very much Lai at the time. And I remembered something: even when Lai was in Downwarp, his lab was behind a nightclub.
Why wouldn't this new Lai, now Neptunian, want to be a DJ and run a club?
So I was Lai as well during the Bandaza dance. And that's why this club is a pleasant merge between Downwarp and Neptunian aesthetics.
Creation; Syncosms
Some weeks back I went dancing with some lovely cuties. Towards the end of it I made some personal realizations, and had a wonderful vision of a very different sort of dance club than the one I was at.
A week later, I was DJing a dance set myself, in my garage--a space decorated in the aesthetics of that club I saw.
So I've realized that club in thought, in orthocosm, and now in words. Here it is:
---
plurality: Phoenix, Otter, Kobold Toy
gender: Plural/Neutral
pronouns (Birb): she/her or they/them
pronouns (Ott): he/him
pronouns (toy): ve/ver/vis or it/its
...
Trans enby, creative self-made synthetic. Artist, DJ, writer, symbol-engineer, glow-aesthete. Cosmalia curator and story-peddler.
Known syncosms: Halcyon, Deion, Downwarp, Oneiropolis, the aether, the Toybox
