@girlfiend I was hoping meow.social would take off but it's pretty quiet so far

@girlfiend
witches.town, vulpine.club and awoo.space all seem pretty good

waa I want to do things but I have super bad eye strain right now :(

I seriously need to learn how to use a screen reader cuz this happens way too often

@axiixc hehe that's what I'm dealing with right now ^^; if you want a python example I'll have one soon

@axiixc there is also a 'username' param that excludes the domain but it'd be good if there was a domain param too?

@axiixc oh and I was referring to the domain when parsing toots :) I still have yet to do the whole oauth thing ^^;

@axiixc I realized I was blind and I was looking for the acct parameter which gives user@domain if they're on a different instance

hmm how are masto clients getting a user's domain? from the account url maybe?

time to look at the mastodon source code I guess

@raccoon same. I was debating going back to arch or trying out debian since a friend of mine is really into it. though I'm not sure if it'd end up being all that different from ubuntu?

Hi everyone! If you like what we're doing and want to support our team, we're going to be starting up a Patreon soon.

The intention behind it is to help pay folks who contribute to the project- most money will be going to members of our team who need the $$$ and help develop the platform, and we'll also be using the money to commission official art.

The people who receive the money each month will vary, and will mostly go towards our mods.

Please help @Raccoon find a job as she is a recently unemployed JUINIOR DEVELOPER
