D&D
#DND as the characters in my campaign get higher level, they get more and more able and willing to derail DM plans. Just last session, I *thought* I had planned for them to go through a dungeon to fight a boss. Instead they refused to enter the dungeon and used Sending messages to lure the boss out, skipping the whole dungeon.
But DMing that kind of stuff is actually kind of fun. Gotta roll with the punches...
#introduction - I work for EFF, coined “lifehacks”, help #noisebridge, wrote ntk.net, doing the best that I can.
I got to see a few metaphorical revolutions, hoping to see a few more. I think it’s going to be okay.
New article on the Doctor's new look! I mean how could I resist writing about this? It's everything I love, fashion, costume, Doctor Who, amazingly in depth nerdy analysis of tiny details.

<<The last two weeks have seen
Britain’s gravest secret finally break into the public domain: that Russia interfered in the Brexit referendum. The fact that such an operation happened is not surprising or even, in itself, much disputed at this point: if the United States, Germany, France, and other Western democracies were targeted, it would be odd if the UK were left alone. >>
Remember folks, if you abandon Twitter, Facebook or Google, it's not a boycott, it's a STRIKE.
Because you're the [unpaid] workers that earn them billions of dollars in capital.
When you don't post, they don't get the benefit of your labour. And when you don't use, they lose money.
Social Media STRIKE days should be a thing.
Interviewer: "What would you say to your opponent after a night like tonight? It must feel very vindicating."
Roem: "I have nothing but nice things to say about Bob. I would never attack one of my constituents, and Bob is now one of my constituents."
An admirable woman, and I wish more of our politicians were as Christ-like.
