@Fuego much empathy. you are grieving; it's okay to be sad. it might help to look up information about living with grief, and see if there's any useful advice about getting on with day-to-day life in the aftermath. do your best to be kind to yourself; comfort foods, familiar and comforting entertainment, and gentle distractions have helped me in the past.

okay now I really need to go food myself. but that was fun! thank you all for playing! :D and feeding, and hugging, and admiring my cats! ;)

green skreeks loudly, shifting slightly into a green-feathered deinonychus form, and pounces on @lizardsquid​ with great enthusiasm and a lot of biting and clawing! it's somewhat like being inside a large industrial blender, only noisier (and greener).

eventually their energy subsides a bit, and they settle down to contentedly gnawing on your arm and making a deep-throated *krrrrrrrr* sound that seems to be a happy purr-growl.

green is a bit confused, but seems happy to preen and appreciates the cat-love. they aren't sure what to do about their food being toyed with, and make a few playful attempts to grab it back.

green is confused, but pleased and excited! they break off the hug to chase happily after a tossed steak, exclaiming "yes, I agree, Nar is a very handsome cat!"
