@kobold I walked down to the mailbox and got a whole bunch of regulars and ONE SHINY YAAAY! so I'm happy. XD tomorrow I'm going to make a special trip out, probably to Costco, and see how many I can pick up in the given time. if I can figure out what the timeframe is!!

the only shiny I've caught is a Plusule, which... looks almost exactly like a normal Plusule, plus it's not terribly useful anyway. cute, but... pointless as a shiny. ah well...

I don't know why we got onto angel names for him, but when we found "Raziel" listed as "angel of mysteries" we knew we had a winner. and indeed, fairly often we ask "Raziel, what are you doing? what have you gotten into? WHAT DO YOU WANT??" and lo, it is a mystery.

current news says it's down, on Ketron Island (I have no idea where that is other than "very close to Fort Lewis and Mchord AFB"), unknown if pilot crashed it or if it was shot down. and I'm going to bed. I'm sure I'll find out more tomorrow. goodnight, and... I don't know. just goodnight.
